Space 空間

To be honest, I did not really understand how to respect people’s spaces.

I have always been the one that cries about something I don’t get. I was spoiled and insecure at the same time.

Going to boarding school changed everything. I became responsible for my own decisions. When I cried, I went to friends. I have never given myself the time and space to heal.

When COVID hit, I had all the time in my hands. The beginning of it was ugly, like peeling through an onion that’s rotted on the outside. It was when I started understanding the importance to value and respect your and others’ spaces though!

What does that mean?

It means when to push and pull by understanding where everyone is coming from. It is when to step away when time-out is necessary. It is when to do something to comfort the mind and body. It is restoration :)
